Roys Bedoys

The main character; an impulsive, somewhat arrogant, but ultimately well-meaning young boy.

  • Ageless Birthday Episode: He's had two stories focusing on his birthday, despite remaining approximately five years old for the whole series.
  • Big Eater: He often gets excited when there is food around, and sometimes takes more than his share of food.
  • Book Dumb: Often procrastinates doing his homework, and will complain about his school assignments.
  • Bratty Half-Pint: He has a rude sense of humour and will sometimes sulk if he doesn't get his way.
  • Full-Name Basis: Everyone always addresses him by full name.
  • Gasshole: A running gag is him farting.
  • Injured Limb Episode: "Roys Bedoys Goes to the Hospital" focuses on him being hospitalised for a broken arm.
  • My Nayme Is: His first name is pronounced the same as "Royce".
  • Nose Nuggets: His nose-picking is a Running Gag.
  • Rhyming Names: His first and last names both rhyme with "choice".
  • Sick Episode: In "Get Well Soon, Roys Bedoys!", he gets what appears to be a cold or the flu.
  • Sore Loser: He's known to get angry if he loses at games.
  • Sweet Tooth: He greatly enjoys cake, ice cream, and other such confections.

Loys Bedoys

Roys's younger brother, of approximately two years, who often acts as the voice of reason.

  • Birthday Episode: He celebrates his (presumably second) birthday in "Don't Hog All the Attention, Roys Bedoys!".
  • Friendship Denial: States that he has no friends, but spends an awful lot of time with Roys's classmates and even invites them to his birthday party.
  • I Don't Think That's Such a Good Idea: He's commonly the one to point out Loys's bad ideas.
  • Only Sane Man: Despite being a toddler, he is often the voice of reason and serves to tell Loys when he's making bad choices.
  • Rhyming Names: Loys Bedoys.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: Even though he's a toddler, he's still more sensible than Roys, and at one point he even wishes he could read since he feels being able to read would "open up new doors" for him.

Joys Bedoys

Roys and Joys's younger sister, a baby.

  • My Name Is: Her name is pronounced the same as "Joyce".
  • Odd Name Out: She's the only female character with a made-up name, and also the only girl to have a known last name.
  • Rhyming Names: Just like her brothers, her first and last names rhyme.
  • Sixth Ranger: She wasn't introduced until "Meet the Baby, Roys Bedoys", in which she was born.
  • Sleepyhead: Justified. She's often seen napping, but that makes sense considering she's only a baby.

Maker Chan

Roys's best friend and the only other boy in his class. He's slightly more academic than the rest of the kids.

  • Academic Athlete: He's the best student out of the kids, and he's also the fastest runner and is seen playing sports with them.
  • Asian and Nerdy: Downplayed. He's half-Asian and sometimes knows things the others don't.
  • Birthday Episode: He has his birthday in "You are Grounded, Roys Bedoys!".
  • Genius Sweet Tooth: Downplayed. He likes candy and desserts as much as his friends, and has more general knowledge than them.
  • Little Professor Dialogue: He'll occasionally use bigger words than his friends.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Downplayed. He wears glasses, and while he's more knowledgeable than his friends, he's not quite a Child Prodigy.

Truly

An athletic girl and a classmate of Roys's.

  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: She plays sports, but she also likes ponies and a lot of her stuff is pink.
  • Lovable Jock: She's the sportiest of the kids, but is a lot politer than Roys.
  • No Full Name Given: Her last name is unrevealed.
  • Sweet Tooth: Like Roys, she often gets excited over sweets.

Wen

Another girl in Roys's class, who's sometimes stated to be poor.

  • Informed Poverty: She's poor when she needs to be (like in "It's Spirit Week, Roys Bedoys", she can't afford fancy clothes and "It's April Fool's Day, Roys Bedoys" even suggests that her parents struggle to afford food). Despite this, she owns the same toys as her friends, and even has a cell phone.
  • No Full Name Given: We don't know her last name.
  • Sweet Tooth: Like her friends, she gets excited whenever candy is on offer.

Flora

Another classmate of Roys's, introduced in "Meet the New Student, Roys Bedoys".

  • No Full Name Given: Her surname is unsaid.
  • Sixth Ranger: She was introduced later in the series than the other kids.

Hopper

A friend of Roys's, who is not his classmate.

  • No Full Name Given: We don't know what his last name is.
  • Odd Name Out: The only boy to have a real name.
  • Sixth Ranger: Downplayed. He appeared and became Roys's friend later in the series, but never became one of the main group.

Coder

Another friend of Roys's, who goes to the same school but is in a different classroom.

  • No Full Name Given: He doesn't have a stated surname.
  • Sixth Ranger: Downplayed. Like Hopper, he appeared and befriended Roys later in the series, but never became a main character.
