It seems there could be trouble in paradise for one TOWIE couple just days before the latest series begins. Following on from their relationship troubles which played out on-screen last series when a teary Amber Turner shared her fears over the future of their relationship, Dan Edgar has taken a cheeky shot at his “bad vibes” girlfriend. Dan’s comments came in a new video posted to the official TOWIE Facebook account as he and Amber discussed life in their new home with dog Oliver.
After insisting that she “gave birth” to Oliver, which was a bit awkward from where we're sitting at least, Amber said, “We’ve established that Oliver’s favourite is Dan.” Dan replied, “People and dogs go off vibes and energy and yours must be off. Yours must be way off!” Amber hit back, “Well, why the flip are you hanging around?” to which Dan savagely responded, “I don’t know. I ask myself the same thing sometimes.” Of course, Dan was only joking and things seem very much happy in the Turner-Edgar household.
At the start of the video, he explained, “I’ll tell you what is going right. We’ve just moved into a new house.” Amber added, “So we’re in our new house. We moved just before Christmas, didn’t we? It’s a nice next step in our relationship. “Obviously we were living in Dan’s bachelor pad and that was ready to go, so we’ve got a nice home. It’s very homely. “We’ve got the dog; we’ve got room for kids.” Blimey, is another TOWIE baby on the cards? Only time will tell… Last month, Dan and Amber teased drama in the new series of TOWIE as they took to The Only Way is Essex's Instagram account to play a little prediction game.
Using everyone's favourite prediction filter, Amber and Dan asked questions about the much anticipated new series and tapped the screen for results. Starting out with a question we all want the answer to Amber quizzed, "Am I going to be involved in any drama this series?" Before an answer could be provided Dan jumped in with a resounding, "YES." Queen Bee Amber does have a penchant for finding herself caught up in the latest #dramz going on in the world of Essex, just last season she had a row withElla Rae Wise,Junaid Ahmed andDani Imberton three separate occasions. As they continued to play the game, Amber asked "Am I going to fall out with anyone this series?" When the filter responded, "No" Amber might have enjoyed the response, "Yay! This sounds like a blinder of a series," but Dan was far from convinced, "It's not true. That is not true." Amber was also asked if Dan would be proposing anytime soon but he was quick to shoot it down which is a shame really as a TOWIE wedding is just what we need. And imagine Amber and Dan's wedding, it would be equal parts glamour and drama.
At the start of 2023, Amber shared a couple of romantic Polaroid snaps that sent her followers into absolute hysteria when they thought she was announcing their engagement. Adding the simple caption "📸 01.01.2023 ❤️" to the cute post that features two polaroid shots of the couple smiling and kissing everybody thought the day had finally come that Dan had dropped to one knee and proposed. One follower declared, "My heart stopped for a second I thought this was an engagement pic 😂❤️," with another already on board with Amber and Dan tying the knot. "Aw I can't wait for the wedding day! Honestly my faves ❤️." A few of the couple's fans were quick to realise it wasn't an engagement post, but still insisted Dan pop the question soon. One said, "Dan don't keep her waiting she deserves the fairytale," with another in agreement stating, "My all time faves ask her to marry you Dan 😍😍."
It's safe to say that Amber and Dan are moving in the right direction after she opened up and shared concerns over her relationship now that she's 29 and they're not engaged, married or having kids. While Dan explained that he wants to get his businesses up and running, Amber couldn't help breaking down in tears while talking to Chloe Meadows and Elma Pazar. "I want to be in a relationship where people look at us and think, 'Oh my god. You can tell they're obsessed with each other. They love each other so much, they're inseparable'. But I just don't get that vibe." She went on to say, "It's not nice to have other people look at your relationship and give their opinions and say 'You can see he doesn't give a f**k. He's not that arsed'. "I just feel like he's got a bit complacent... I don't want to not be with him but in the same sense I'm not happy. "I just feel like something has to change."
Amber and Dan's rocky patch came after Ella Rae Wise spoke out about Dan's “inappropriate” behaviour after rumours began swirling about them when he allegedly put his hands around her waist on a night out, despite him being in a long-term relationship with Amber. The returning reality star later claimed that Dan acted “inappropriately” and said, “Dan needs to keep his hands to himself really. He shouldn't touch up other girls when he has a girlfriend.” She told MailOnline, “He was hands on and given he has a girlfriend, it was inappropriate.”

But since making those remarks, Ella took to her Instagram Story to clarify what she meant and insisted that she wasn’t touched “without consent”. Ella wrote, “I do want to make it clear that Dan Edgar did not touch me inappropriately without my consent. “What I did mean is that I think how he has acted towards me whilst having a girlfriend is not ok. No boyfriend should hold someone’s hand or put his hands around another girl’s waist whilst in a relationship.” It was earlier alleged that Ella said Dan had always fancied her, and Amber was fuming around the time the story came out.
"The hunger for airtime this series is REAL and we've just started 😳," she wrote on her Instagram Stories when the cast started filming in June.
"Sick of press posting LIES for clickbait it's actually embarrassing."

Amber and Dan might be one of TOWIE's strongest couples now, but their relationship began amid infidelity rumours. Dan's on-off relationship with Kate Wright (now Ferdinand) was at the centre of many a storyline, up until their split in 2016. Amber joined the cast in 2017 as the girlfriend of Jamie Reed but they split soon after when Jamie accused Amber of cheating on him. After a period of 'seeing each other', Dan and Amber made things official in 2018.

Things weren't to last though and just a month after going official, they called it quits, with a source saying, "Amber and Dan have decided to go their separate ways after dating for the last month. Dan has been less than impressed by the way Amber has handled herself since going on the show."Ooft. Dan briefly reconciled with his ex Lauren Pope before the couple decided to give things another go.

2018 passed in a blur but by December of that year after a particularly dramatic series, Dan and Amber had split again with friends saying they thought it was "for good".A source said, "They are both heartbroken."Amber does love Dan so it was a really hard decision, especially so close to Christmas but they both agree it's for the best."

Shortly after their split during a group holiday to Thailand, Dan was reported to have grown romantically close to his long-term pal Chloe Sims, and by March the former friends were making a go of things,leaving Amber feeling betrayed.Amber's BFF Courtney Green said, "She's not even fuming, she's just so confused. She doesn't believe it's true, like 'what is going on?' I feel for her. She has spoken to Dan."That's the thing is that we didn't have any answers for her, we were speaking to her a lot and we were saying we couldn't work it out. It was completely out of the blue."

But wait! It later came to light that Dan and Amber had met up for a secret belated Valentine's Day date in March, shortly before that fateful Thailand holiday.Chloe Meadows said at the time, "I'm not sure what is going on with them two."As of right now they're not together but who knows. Amber is quite hard to get information out of. I think he's a really nice boy. I like Dan but do I think he has treated her right so far? No."I just hope he realises how good he has it because Amber is a really nice girl."

Despite Dan moving on with Chloe Sims, in April Courtney said Amber's feelings towards her ex-boyfriend haven't changed.She explained to The Sun, "I am on Amber's side. It's still an ex boyfriend and it's still who she loves.She even hinted that Dan may still be into his ex-girlfriend even though he's now dating Chloe."It's not that they're not the real deal, it's more that it's just gone a bit too quick and obviously Amber is my best friend and he's her ex-boyfriend so I'm always going to be a bit wary of the situation."But I just said, 'Listen if them two end up together then that's fine'. It's just the fact Amber is my best friend."

Fast forward two months and Amber and Dan confirmed they were BACK ON - much to the chagrin of friends and fans. The TOWIE stars were on holiday in Ibiza and put on a full loved-up display by kissing on the beach. Perhaps not so surprising, though, because Amber said in tearful scenes on TOWIE, "So obviously the day he went to Thailand me and him were fine, there was no issue, and then he rang and told me that Chloe Sims had admitted that she had feelings for him."I was like 'what did you say back' and he was basically telling me his head's gone, he doesn't know what to do and he doesn't want to be with Chloe, but he's lost his head about thing".

In June, Amber was forced to defend their reunion after she was targeted by fans on Instagram. She wrote, "Thanks to everyone who's commented something nice!!!" People make mistakes and we all can live OUR lives however we want. Don't need to be told what we can and can't do."Everyone else is irrelevant and we are happy."

But despite putting on a united front, it wasn't long before cracks started showing AGAIN when fan's insisted Amber deserved better when Dan refused to back her in an argument with Yazmin Oukhellou over their rival fitness apps.One fan said, "Why does Fan priorities EVERY SINGLE BOY in the entire world over Amber... Honestly he'd prioritise a random person on the street's feelings over Amber's.""Seriously what kind of boyfriend is Dan," said another. "Literally crying about being friends with Lockie making Amber feel even worse. You know if Dan was to speak about Yaz the way Lockie does about Amber there would be an issue but Dan clearly doesn't respect his girlfriend enough."Ouch.

But despite the criticism, Dan and Amber currently appear to be on track, with the couple even planning on getting a dog together.
